2027 Bison Hunting Packages:

For Fall 2027 (Mid-September through Mid-December), we will be offering two different bison hunting packages, with discounted rates for returning clients:

Base Package:
Includes one premium-eating bison hunt (16-20 mo. bull or heifer) with field dressing, skinning, handling, and cooling the carcass overnight in our walk-in refrigerator; quartered, and ready for you to take to your home butcher. Two nights lodging for one hunter and one guest at the Bison Ranch Lodge (one double-occupancy room).

Butcher's Package:
​
Our Base Package plus butchering services in our state-approved custom butcher shop. Butchering includes all boneless cuts of primals plus ground trim; packaged and flash-frozen, ready to take home to your family. Three nights lodging for one hunter and one guest at the Bison Ranch Lodge (one double-occupancy room).

Solo hunts may be paired with other customers, at our discretion, so as to maximize our efficiency with both the calendar and in our butcher shop. Each hunt would be conducted separately (i.e. one in the morning; one in the afternoon).

Both packages include accommodations for the hunter and ONE non-hunting guest at no extra cost. Additional guests: $100 per night.

There are no hidden costs or fees with either bison package; you own every ounce of the animal you harvest. So can take the robe, skull, cape, bones, whatever. It's all yours. Both bison packages are also fully-guided. We are with you every step of the way to ensure a clean, efficient, and humane kill on the appropriate bison.

We do not provide taxidermy or tanning services, but we can provide you with recommendations in our area.

Our bison hunting season starts in mid-September and ends mid-December.
Book Your Hunt
The first step in booking a hunt with The Bison Ranch: contact us by e-mail us at info@thebisonranch.com with a range of dates that will work for you. If you'd prefer to communicate by phone, just give us a call at (701) 269-1558.
Once we've agreed upon dates, please complete your reservation by filling out and returning an application and waiver of liability along with a 50% deposit for your hunt. The remainder will be due and payable on arrival at The Bison Ranch. For groups, each visitor (hunters and non-hunters alike) must return a signed waiver of liability. Payments Accepted
We accept cashiers checks and personal checks (subject to additional fees and charges for bounced or returned payments) made payable to "The Bison Ranch, LLP". The Bison Ranch, LLP can accept credit card payment through PayPal or Venmo. However, in the event the undersigned customer chooses to pay via credit card through PayPal or Venmo, customer shall be responsible an additional surcharge of 3% to be added to the total amount due.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We accept cancellations up to one hundred twenty (120) days prior to your scheduled arrival. Any and all cancellations or "no-shows" within 120 days of the scheduled arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Any and all requests to reschedule made within 120 days of the scheduled arrival will be assessed a $500 rescheduling fee. Should the customer request to be rescheduled to a later season, customer will be responsible for the rescheduling fee plus the applicable rate of the later season (which may or may not be higher than the contracted price).
