Hunting at The Bison Ranch

 

We have been guiding clients who come to hunt bison, waterfowl, upland game, and coyotes since 1997. 
 

Through those years we've observed our guests come here to hunt one species and find out they can have a great time hunting others as well. So we offer combination hunting--meaning your hunting package includes the opportunity to hunt whatever is in season for the days included in your hunting package. Here's what to expect from a hunt at The Bison Ranch:
 

• Integrity: our hunts are managed by the owner, a straight-shooter who loves his land and the wildlife on it. 
   

• Experience: we've hosted hundreds and many repeat (the record is a Michigan group that has visited the ranch 18 times) guests. 
   

• Perfect harvest: The Bison Ranch has had much experience ensuring you not only a successful hunt, but a healthy harvest. And this is the key to good meat. When you harvest a bison in their environment, taking extra steps to accomplish a peaceful harvest, the animal isn't riled or excited and therefore is saved from spiked adrenalin levels that can lead to tough, strong-tasting meat. 

 

• Opportunity to combo hunt at no additional charge.

• Lodging in our cabin or farmhouse among the rolling prairie hills of North Dakota.

• Breakfast -- let's just say you won't go out hungry!

• Options for noon and evening meals: cook in our fully-equipped kitchen or visit local restaurants. 

• Heated Garage for your gear, dog, or just for hanging out and sharing wisdom.

• Game-cleaning station

• Shooting range to site in your rifle.

Want more time?  

 

All our hunting packages may be extended for $100 / gun per day.  For example, if you book a bison hunt, your package will include two days of hunting bison and other species (above).  You may hunt waterfowl, upland game, and coyote for no additional charge during the two days included in your bison hunting package.  If you'd like to extend your hunt by a day or two, you may do so for $100 per person per day.
